Apparently "the solution" is a "terminology lecture " .
ALLOW me to try again , skipping the terminology , maybe a (simple) pseudo code is more appropriate..
"this" is an accessible value
"parent" is an accessible value
parent is an accessible vallue

etc
etc.
do the above, until "parent" contains " match text "
Can anybody attempt to ACTUALLY code the above - in C++?
( As I said ) I have C++ code to do the above FOR single level, (foreach) ONE "parent" and need help to expand that to multiple "parents" - "using "foreach" or anything Qt has to offer - QTree interrogation style (?)
PLEASE - code , no superficial opinions / lectures.
